"This week is the American Diabetes Association Call to Congress. It will be exciting to be at an event with so many dedicated diabetes advocates from around the country all together for a common purpose.. very powerful. Madi will have an opportunity to address the whole group as National Youth Advocate, with the opportunity to speak to senators and congressmen on Capitol Hill to discuss current trends in diabetes and the epidemic numbers of people being diagnosed, as well as the need for increased funding to STOP diabetes! It will be an awesome, empowering event.
