Royal Portraits of Nat'l Miss Heart of America Rachel Bettendorf
What an exciting week!! We just announced a new Queen (see previous post) and now we have the Royal Portraits of Queen Rachel, Nat'l Miss Heart of America.
One is of Queen Rachel with Bandit. Her Mom says, "She and Bandit just passed their Canine Good Citizenship level 2 for the AKC and she is so proud." Rachel will now be working with Bandit with the goal of having him become a therapy dog. "She is quite excited about the comfort he can bring to others."
In addition to working with Bandit and her other regular activities, Rachel is working towards a level Ribbon 2 in choir. She recently received superior ratings from her guitar teacher. In addition she was chosen, along with one other student from the entire School of the Arts, to receive the honor of attending three performances (The Aluminum Show, Wicked in May and Mary Poppins in August), study sessions/reception and meet the artist/director after the show.
Queen Rachel's parents, her sister, and her two brothers are all very proud of her, as are we at Coronet Pageants!

Lately Madi has been busy with studying for finals and with rehearsals for Bye, Bye Birdie.
We will keep you posted on the future accomplishments of this exceptional young woman.
We plan to resubmit her photo to Pageantry since the digitally entered photo seems to have gone astray, and we will post a link when that's available.
